Dr. Ian Baek is the founder of ORGAID Inc.

He received his PhD degree in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015.
For the past eight years, Dr. Baek has been diligently applying himself to making new discoveries in biomaterials and nanoparticles while furthering his education in the discipline of materials science and engineering.
His research has been specifically concerned with advanced active delivery of biomolecules into the human body for biomedical applications.

His research has resulted in more than 15 articles in scientific journals around the world and numerous presentations at conferences. Based on his knowledge from previous research, he set out to combine cosmetics and their active ingredients and biomaterials science in order to optimize the benefits of active ingredients.

He is continuing to research how to effectively deliver the beneficial nutrition into human skin in the safest manner.
