This is an ultra-soothing herbal remedy based on calamine, comfrey and neem. It is used for skin rashes on the face and offers spectacular, immediate relief from acne, irritation, rashes and inflammation.

Ingredients:

  • Distilled water :

    • Basic solvent used to dilute and dissolve other ingredients. It is purified to remove impurities and minerals.

  • Calamine (certified organic) :

    • A mixture of zinc oxide and ferric oxide, often used to relieve itching, eczema, insect bites, etc.

    • Properties: soothing, anti-inflammatory.

    • Calamine is a combination of zinc oxide (98%) and ferric oxide (2%), used for its soothing, antipruritic and slightly antiseptic properties. It acts by forming a protective layer on the skin, reducing itching and promoting the healing of skin lesions.

  • Zinc oxide (non-nano) :

    • Used for its protective, antiseptic and healing properties.

    • The non nano means that the particles are not small enough to penetrate the skin (better for safety and the environment).

  • Camphor (certified organic)* :

    • Refreshing active ingredient that stimulates blood circulation and is used to relieve skin irritations.

  • Witch hazel (certified organic)* :

    • Astringent plant used to soothe sensitive skin, reduce redness and tighten pores.

  • Neem (certified organic)* :

    • Powerful antibacterial, antifungal and antiparasitic agent. Often used for acne or problem skin.

  • Chamomile (certified organic)* :

    • Highly soothing, anti-inflammatory, ideal for sensitive or irritated skin.

  • Comfrey (certified organic)* :

    • Rich in allantoin, promotes cell regeneration and healing.

  • Sandalwood (certified organic)* :

    • Antiseptic, calming, used in cosmetics to soothe the skin and as a natural fragrance.

  • Karanj (certified organic)* :

    • Less well-known, but often used in Ayurvedic medicine. Antibacterial, antifungal and natural photoprotector.

DIRECTIONS TO USE IT

Shake well and massage directly into affected areas. Can be applied to areas of the body as required. Use twice a day or as often as necessary. Do not apply to open wounds.
